Santa Fe Travels

I’m finally getting around to posting some of my images from Santa Fe last summer. We were there for the Native American Arts Festival last August. I love the light and colors in New Mexico. Adobe in particular makes an excellent background.

Links to purchase these images are in the captions below. More images from this trip and more are available at my site on Fine Art America. Click here.

Chimayo Church
This church is in Chimayo, between Santa Fe and Taos. This image is available to buy here.
Christmas Chilis
This photograph is titled Christmas Chiles for the obvious reason that they are red and green. These ropes of peppers, or ristras, are popular in New Mexico and give off a wonderful scent when hung inside. Click here to purchase.
Boy Running
I titled this one, Joyful. The grin on this boy’s face can be seen even in profile. His dance regalia is so vibrant and colorful. Click here for purchase.
Shadow Antlers
This was taken in the book store of the main square in Santa Fe. I love the shadows cast on the wall. Click here to purchase.
Adobe Walls
Adobe walls are lit up with luminarias for the evening. The blue trim really stands out against the adobe. Click here to purchase.
7UP
An old gas station pump in Chimayo, New Mexico. Click here to purchase.
