I’ve taken several trips recently to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. It’s on the northeastern edge of Denver with a view of downtown against the Rocky Mountain skyline. The grasslands of this refuge stretch all the way out to the Denver International Airport. And they support a large amount of wildlife. The largest of which are the American bison (which I still want to call buffalo). Here are some images from those trips.
