My new short story, Lord of Misrule is now out. This story is told from the point of view of Cam Sharp, Rye Gannon’s partner in Gannon Investigations, a P.I. firm in the modern world but with an Urban Fantasy twist – magic is real.

Rye had learned the year before that she has the unique ability to sense and identify magical objects. Her business partner, Cam, knows about the magic, but she herself hasn’t worked on any of Rye’s supernatural investigations. Until now.

With Rye out of town, Cam is asked to step forward and assist a psychic client who is worried that there are some homeless teens in grave danger. With the help of their office manager, Juju, Cam investigates and comes to terms with some of the very real dangers of meddling with magical forces.
